Welcome to the Men's section of Guildford Hockey Club.

GHC offers its members a range of seven men’s teams to cover all playing levels. All sides are in local and regional leagues where recent performances have shown the in-depth quality of the Club’s playing standard. While it is hoped that players in all teams are available every weekend it is acknowledged that this is not always possible and so teams operate a pool system, reviewed monthly. Our subscription and match fee system provides a fair method of giving members value for money.

All members have the opportunity to improve their performances and training evenings take place on Tuesdays (1st XI), Thursdays (1st & 2nd XIs), and Wednesdays (all other teams). We provide excellent coaching at every level under the management of an internationally renowned coach. In addition we participate in Summer leagues, a major mixed festival held at GHC in July, Rush Hockey, and other playing opportunities on an ad hoc basis.

We have a proud record of success here at Guildford Hockey Club, which combined with our outstanding facilities, lively social scene, and forward-looking management set-up, is most attractive for our members: as we say ……… “a great place to play” !
