We went into the game buoyed by recent strong performances. For some it had been a little eventful in getting to the game with a Harriet’s car breaking down! However that was soon forgotten and everyone got focused on the game...

Today the Ladies 1s travelled down to Worthing. There were high expectations off the back of the team's strong start to the season, having lost only one match and improving every time we play...

Ladies-20160831-9GHC Ladies used their Wednesday evening training session to great effect this week. The 1s played a friendly against Woking at Charterhouse while the rest of the Ladies played a series of 7-a-side games including members, new players, visitors and some Juniors who were playing Adult hockey for the first time.

20160430InbetweenersTeam-200Last Saturday a team of Guildford players participated in the Spartans Summer 6s Festival, with temperatures due to hit 25 degrees the team knew they were going to be playing in very unfamiliar conditions. The tournament rules were indoor but played outdoors on a quarter pitch; Spartans even had dividing boards, everyone agreed it sounded a lot of fun and they weren't wrong...
