We had two glorious days of weather for what was a big weekend at Guildford Hockey Club. Saturday saw Open Days for both the Ladies’ and Men’s Sections with about 15 potential new members enjoying skills and games with the more ‘established’ members of the Club. Some of the older Juniors also took part and it’s great to see the Club coming together on a day like this.
In another example of fantastic GHC spirit, a posse was formed to give the upstairs bar area a good scrub and coat of paint. Have a look at the results in the ‘match report’ where you can see the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos. Come and enjoy the ‘after’ in person at the Club!
We had a fantastic turnout for the August Skills Courses with more than 70 children the first week and more than 50 the second. Have a look at photos from the two courses - working hard and learning looks like good fun!!
