Junior Match Reports

The Under 12 Boys went toe to toe with the best teams in the South region in the Teddington Christmas Invitational 2016. This is always one of the events in the calendar we look forward to. This year it clashed with the squad's other big December event which meant that several players stepped up from Bs to As to play in this top tournament...

A strong Mavericks team lined up against a Surbiton side who looked small enough to also be under 12s, but we found out to be their under 14 D team. We started strongly, pressing Surbiton and winning most of the 50/50 encounters.

It was a game of two halves for the Under 12 Boys v Reigate on Sunday...

The Under 10 Girls participated with two teams in an eclectic festival hosted by Surbiton today. We had the pleasure of playing a range of teams from the mighty Surbiton to the much smaller Addiscombe. A great day out and some very good hockey and results.

The U18 Girls had their second game of the season at the weekend. Pleasingly, they had a full squad of U18s supplemented by two under 16s and were all eager to play...

Our Under 18 Boys are through to Round 3 of the England Hockey Knock-out Competition. A tight Cup game ended 3-3 for the third time in as many years...

It was a crisp and bright morning as 32 of our U10 girls arrived at Woking. We had agreed to field one strong team (Shadows) against two Woking sides on a half pitch and three mixed ability/age teams (Fire/Ice/Storm) against similar teams from Woking playing on quarter pitches...

Through to the next round of the cup!!! The Under 14 Boys, with one match to go, have secured a top two place in their Tier 1 EH Cup pool for a place in Tier 2. They had a shut out aganst local rivals...
