GHC-ClubDay2016GHC kicked off the season in good form with two days of #HockeyFest. The Men and Ladies had a few matches and some fun sessions on Saturday 3rd September. The Junior coaches had an 'inset' morning including a really interesting coaching session with Dan Fox. And then the Juniors took over the pitches for some games...

Ladies-20160831-9GHC Ladies used their Wednesday evening training session to good effect this week. The Ladies 1s played a friendly match against Woking at Charterhouse. And the rest of the Ladies had a series of 7-a-side games at Broadwater incorporating some new players, some visiting players and also some Juniors who hadn't yet played Adult hockey. A great evening for GHC Ladies!

JaneBullockIn 2006 Jane Bullock joined Guildford Hockey Club.  She became a likeable and integral part of the ladies 2's, helping them to secure promotion from Div 2 to Div 1 in her first season.  Jane was not only an active hockey player she also offered support to the club.  She obtained sponsorship for the ladies 2's from Snack a Jacks, helped out at colts training and even supplied a sound system for the club house.  There are many pictures from hockey socials, fancy dress nights and do's in posh frocks!  Jane was a popular lady and made many good friends for life...
