 Guildford U10s welcomed Chertsey and Reigate for their first home tournament of the season, on our beautiful new pitch. Fire arrived early and warmed up in preparation to defend their unbeaten record so far this year.

Goals: For 10, Against 0 (Isobel 7, Martha 2, Jess 1)
The first game was against Chertsey 1s and the team put in the best performance to date this season; passing and driving forward whilst tackling back and staying in position, resulted in a 4-0 win.
The next three games were all won 2-0, Emily, in goal, saw off one threatening attack facing a one-on-one situation where she shut the angle down and the attacker, panicking, put the ball wide. This season Emily has only let in one goal!
Well done all! Some great play, fantastic unselfish passing, hard hit goal scoring, and tackling, but most impressive of all you all played as one team.
