Without a goalie, the girls defended extremely well in every single match.
We had many shots on target but unfortunately the opposition goalies proved to be just too good.
However, we looked very dangerous in our short corners forcing the opposition in our last match to defend constantly after 3 consecutive corners until the whistle went.
We drew the first match to Wayferers 0-0, lost 0-1 to Spencer on a last-minute goal and lost to Old Kingstonians 0-2 in a very tough match.
Despite the results and the girls feeling at disadvantage for not having a goalie, they fought til the bitter end and showed some excellent team work and spirit. They have progressed so much in the last few weeks, well done girls!
