 I'll start by saying that there was a draw for DoD between Copeland and myself. He thought I should write the report as he scored, however, I have scored double the goals he has this season! Anyway on to the report itself...
We arrived at the pitch which had more sand on it than the beach I went to on holiday. The opposition made it clear they meant business and were more than happy to use their hands to try and intimidate us, especially me, but that's another story.
Marcus made some great saves in his new kit, lots of people were playing out of their usual position, but we only had 11 men, well seven men and four juniors. We soon injured two of their players to try and even up the sides (not on purpose) but they still had one more sub than us.
At half time it was 1-1 after Copeland scored from a short corner. At the restart Copeland decided he didn't like the look of the ball so requested a new one which delayed the start. After the break we had all the possession but simply couldn't score. Merton then broke and scored. We nearly got the equaliser but sadly it was saved and the game ended 2-1.
