The Under 8s have had more festivals this season than ever before. Huge appreciation for James Relph's commitment and leadership throughout the season (despite his daughter having graduated to the U10s). Tens of people have helped out this season including many parents and Duke of Edinburgh volunteers and also Rohanna Ross (who is neither!). The girls and boys have enjoyed it and learned some terrific basic hockey skills...
Final Tournament of the Season - Guildford hosts Richmond on Mother's Day
The Guildford hawks played an hour of brilliant hockey against Richmond. As hawks do, they kept a good overview of the field and tried to pass the ball as much as possible. Besides this teamwork, we also saw some amazing individual skills. Every game one of the players played for Richmond - who came players short - and they did so willingly and without complaining. Great sportsmanship!
Team - Hannah, Rosie, Gem, Caspar, Jemima, William

Good fun and well played team! Great debuts from Katy and Bea with some superb tackling and defending by Matthew and Alexander. Lots of energy and passing from Susannah and Tilly with great dribbling skills from Amelie. Lots of goals at both ends to keep the crowd entertained! Played 4, won 2, lost 1, drew 1.
