Men's 3s (Re-named again) v Woking at home

 10th Oct 2015

4s-v-Woking-001-200The 3s (previosuly known as the 3s and then briefly known as the 4s but now re-named once again the 3s, not to be confused of course with the Shadows who are GHC's 3rd team) played their first home match of the season against local rivals Woking...

Within the first five minutes Woking were awarded a short corner leading to a stunning save from Nick on the post.  An early goal from Connor was disallowed, and some further dramatic saves from GK Alex meant the boys (and Nick & Dave!) finished the half with the score locked at 0-0.

The team were playing some lovely passing hockey but finding a goal was eluding them, then the break came with Alex Sweet adding the one and only goal of the game. The boys had learnt a lot the previous week against Cheam and played a much more effective passing game today.

Roll on next week against Reigate.
