Without a goalie we conceded three easy goals in the first fifteen minutes, thereafter for the rest of the game we were camped in their half. The oppo acknowledged that we were robbed!
Two cracking goals from HP, together with an good all round performance from the Gondoliers displaying excellent attacking and possession hockey. Our newbies, for the first time ever, played good constructive hockey and managed to deliver several good moves.
Jason was kept busy and consequently unable to think or talk much (a relief to both sides), and Brent kept harassing their forwards on the odd occasion they strayed into our half.
All in all, a good team performance in spite of the end result, 2-3 to Horsham.
