The weekend’s fixture saw another exceptionally strong final 20 minutes from the M1s. Great to see so many club members enjoying the afternoon and hanging around to watch.
It has been a very good run of form for the M1s. Training has been going well and as a result we seem to be picking up points missed in the first half of the season. Following a 2-2 draw in round 1 against West Hampstead, it was great to turn this into a resounding victory. As a collective, we will need to work hard on conceding fewer goals in our final four games of the 2019/20 season.
Ross Fergusson was back to his very best, absolutely burying three corners in front of the adoring home crowd; two into the roof of the goal and one bullet into the bottom left.
Next week we are away at Wycombe, another fixture that we would like to turn around, having narrowly lost 3-4 in the home leg in Round 1.
