Guildford Hockey Club Est. 1912

A vision for GHC

Guildford Hockey Club exists to be a Club:

  • focussed on social and competitive hockey that caters for players of all abilities and ages.
  • that is a friendly and social organisation where people know each other and enjoy their membership.
  • that supports the aspiration for all members to participate to the best of their ability and at the top level for the best Senior and Junior players - whether through playing, coaching or umpiring.

Current Organisation to Deliver the GHC Vision

GHC is governed by a constitution and run by a Board that comprises five key roles plus any other roles it deems necessary to help deliver hockey to the membership. The Board is voted in each year during the AGM which takes place in May (after the end of the season/financial year ending 30 April).

The current Board and roles are in the chart below - to better see the detail, please click here.

The Director of Hockey role as defined in the recent 3-5 year plan and Way Forward can be found here.

We are always looking for more people to get involved in making the hockey happen - if you would like to ask a question or let us know you have some interest or skills that you could share.
