Some of you may have had the pleasure of meeting the three fine, young men who have come to spend the season with GHC... Welcome to GHC Matt, James and Tanner!
 Matt Madsen arrived on 21 September and has been training and playing with the Men's 1s. He has also been coaching in our Junior Section. Matt comes from Durban where he played school, club and provincial hockey, both outdoor and indoor. He has been a provincial player at U14/16/18 and 21 (similar to our EH Junior Regional Performance teams). He also played for his club, Kearsney in the Premier League. He has SAHA Level 0 and Level 1 Coaching Qualifications.
Tanner Bottomley and James Dellis arrived 21 October and also got stuck into the M1s immediately upon arrival. They are also helping with coaching and umpiring in the Junior Section.
 James was also a provincial player at U14/16/18 and 21. He has been studying BCom at Varsity College Durban North where he has been playing for the Varsity College 1st XI in the Premier League. James also has indoor experience and has coached junior players at schools and colleges for the past two years.
 Tanner was also a provincial player at U14/16/18 and 21, was awarded Senior Hockey Player at his High School when he also played for Premier League Club Munies 1st XI. Last year he was signed with Futura Sports as an 'Elite' Hockey Player. He is studying Sports Management and Development at Varsity College Durban North where he was playing for the college's 1st XI in the Premier League. He has been selected for the KwaZulu-Natal U21 and Men's teams and was promoted by Futura to 'Athlete' Hockey Player recently and is currently sponsored by Ritual. He has extensive coaching experience both outdoor and indoor and including from U10s to adult teams and has a Level 2 SAHA Coaching Certificate.
