 The Junior Season keeps on giving. And so do the GHC Juniors. Last weekend the Girls and Boys U10s competed in the South Region Finals. The South Finals bring together the top teams from across the south region - a very competitive hockey landscape indeed and both teams won medals...
The Boys won Gold Medals after scoring 14 goals in six games and conceding only 3. In some tough matches the boys dug deep and came out undefeated winners for the day. South Region 2018 Champions!

 The Girls won Silver Medals having had tough, close matches in sweltering conditions. The Final ended in a 0-0 draw after the team had let in only one goal all day. The ensuing penalty shoot-out was also close and went to the 4th and 5th strokes but unfortunately ended in disappointment.
It could not have been closer and the Girls can rest assured that they play at the top of the teams from across the South. Keep working, Girls!
