 More than 90 juniors took advantage of our skills camps in July, run by incoming GHC Director of Junior Coaching, Dan Fox. Some fantastically fun drills were set up and coach to player ratios were excellent. We were also really pleased to welcome three GB players to the coaching staff.
Thirty-five outfield players and a dozen keepers filled up our water-based pitch on Monday 24 July and Tuesday 25th saw 45 younger outflield players, 23 teenagers and 3 keepers.
Fortitude UK Ltd were with us on the Monday running the specialty GK camp, keeping the goalies busy. And on Tuesday we welcomed GB captain Phil Roper and GB players Tom Carson and Joie Leigh who all got stuck into the coaching, showing us some of what they do at GB training. They also answered some fascinating questions from the players and patiently signed dozens of autographs.
