 Our next social event to get in calendars is Race Night on Saturday 26th January. It was hugely successful last year and we’re hoping to build on its success this year.
Doors open at 7.30pm and it’s £5 admission which includes a hot dinner and programme.
If you have not experienced a Race Night before, the basic format is that a number of horse races are shown to guests on a large screen, and you can place bets on each race at totes set up and run by the club. Each person is given a race card showing which horses and jockeys are in each race. You are of course playing with real money so there is a good chance to take home some winnings…or otherwise just have a great night!!
Tickets are available every Friday evening at the clubhouse or from a member of the Ladies section.
We are also looking for race sponsors. As a race sponsor, for £25 you (or your company’s) name would be announced at the start of that race and advertised on the Race Card. If you would like to be a sponsor or can think of someone else (or a company) that might be interested please see/share the attached sponsorship letter.
