GHC has so much great news to shout about - but we've not been reaching as many people and organisations as we might like in the hockey world. We are really excited to professionalise an important means of attracting new sponsorship, players, umpires, coaches and supporters...
Welcome Sarah Fletcher-Evans to our new role of Social Media Manager!
Some of you may know Sarah or have seen her around the club over the past 2 seasons. Her partner, Tylo, plays for GHC Men's 1s and coaches in our Junior Section and at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford.
Sarah is studying a Digital Media course and will be helping propel GHC's Social Media forwards using her skills and expertise.
Sarah is looking for great content to share on twitter, instagram and facebook. PLEASE SEND IN YOUR PHOTOS AND STORIES - Sarah can only report what she knows and she can't be present at every event or know everything that goes on over our 1500 strong membership!
Email photos and news to
Sarah will also be setting up a What's App group if you find it easier to text than email from your phone: 07375 074 190.
If you are not on social media - maybe give it a try. If you are shy or don't really like the idea of posting about yourself, you can always just re-tweet/like/share GHC stories which would help us a great deal as we continue to build our GHC network.
Please note that InTouch will remain our weekly email-and-web-based newsletter and the GHC website will still host Club News articles, Match Reports and each weekly edition of InTouch along with lots of other information about our teams, leagues, matches, social events and more.
InTouch will be published on a Thursday - please send in news and stories by end of day Wednesday.
The social media posts will run throughout the weeks, reporting on the matches and events of the weeks and weekends and also shouting about upcoming events and activities at the Club.

Many thanks in advance for supporting Sarah and our GHC communications!
