GHC Ladies played in the South Indoor Regional Qualifiers in mid-December and never looked back...
The Ladies won the South tournament, qualifying them for England Hockey Super 6s National Division 2 South play-offs.
They came 2nd in the National Division 2 South tournament on 4-5 January, which qualified them for the next round of competition - the play-off tournament for the chance to play in the National Division 1 for next year.
The National Division 2 tournament took place on 18-19 January and the Ladies came 2nd overall, qualifying for next year's England Hockey Super 6s National Division 1!
The England Hockey Super 6s structure is as follows:
- Premier Division Men
- Premier Division Women
- Division One Men
- Division One Women (*) - This is the competition GHC Ladies will play in Jan 2021
- Division Two Men
- Division Two Women (**) - GHC Ladies came 2nd in this tournament (18-19 Jan), qualifying for Division One in 2021.
- Division Two South and North Qualifiers - Men
- Division Two South and North Qualifiers - Women (**) - GHC Ladies came 2nd in this tournament (4-5 Jan), qualifying for the Division Two tournament
- Regional Qualifiers Men
- Regional Qualifiers Women (***) - GHC Ladies won the South Regional tournament Dec 2019
The Premier League and Division 1 teams have play-offs to determine the top four Men and Women's teams that compete in the annual Jaffa Super 6s Finals held at the Copperbox at the Olympic Park in London (2 February this year).
