The top scorers in our Men's and Ladies' 1st XI teams are former GHC Junior players - both of whom are still 18 - Alice O'Hagan and Ross Fergusson.
The teams have gained promotion to the top Southern regional leagues and these two players have had a big impact in their teams' successes. Both players have played through the junior ranks at Guildford and also with County and Regionl teams.
Both Ross and Alice are short corner specialists but are also strong contributors across the pitch and have been key to ensuring the course of many games. On the pitch team mates forget that they are so young – a real credit to both players.
The men’s Southern League keep the statistics and Ross has finished the season in second place across the South Prem 2 league with 28 goals (one behind the leader). The ladies South Prem 2 league do not keep the same records, but Alice’s 14 total of goals is a great achievement. |
