 Each year the junior season seems to go on longer and start earlier and this season is no excpetion. Normally finished by Easter, this year we had Under 18 Girls in League Play-offs in May and Under 14 Boys in League and National Finals also. And there was so much demand for the hockey to continue that we organised further mid-week evening skills sessions and a half-term course in May - something we haven't done before but we kept dozens of young players happy with 2 more days of hockey...
A big thank you to Mo Rahman, a GHC 1st XI team player with loads of coaching experience including last season for GHC our Ladies 2nd XI and our Under 14 Girls. Mo organised and ran the sessions with brilliant coaching from Scottish International Nikki Lloyd, Premier League player and professional coach Sam Mees, Premier League Player from Nezw Zealand Tatai Dewes and former England Junior Lydia Allen.
