The club aims to have two qualified First Aiders within each team. There are now 62 qualified First Aiders in the club with 3-year Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificates.
Please note that all GHC First Aiders also need a DBS, to complete the England Hockey Online Basic Safeguarding Awareness training and two references. Please see our Safeguarding section for more information and/or contact Club Welfare Officer for more information:
At each Match, Tournament, Training, Social event there will always be two First Aiders available and may be visible by the yellow vest. Vests are stored on top of the First Aid cupboard (First Aid office which is the door to the left as you enter the clubhouse double doors). Please replace the vest to this spot after you've used it.
Please see the First Aid Courses webpage if you are interested in joining the First Aid team.
