Our new Director of Junior Coaching, Dan Fox, has designed a programme to take our fantastic group of junior coaches to the next level.

We have 60 coaches, 20 administrators and more than a dozen older Junior players helping deliver great hockey to our Juniors.

Dan has already started developing our coaches' skills so they can help develop our players.See what's in store for the rest of the programme.

September and October

15 Sessions in 60 Minutes
Ideas for practice design and gameplay for fun, engaging, challenging and competitive hockey sessions.
16/17/18 Sep - Sat and Sun sessions at 4pm, Monday timing has changed to 20.30-21.30.

Teaching the Basics
An A to Z of hitting, pushing, slap hitting, flicking, tackling and marking. Great for assistant and lead coaches particularity U8, U10, U12. Covers what to coach when, key points for different skills and some games and activities that help develop them.
24/25 Sep - 7pm

Incorporating Goalkeepers
Run by Tom Millington, founder and owner of Fortitude UK Ltd. Ideas for incorporating goalkeepers into warm-ups, training sessions and match play. And a short guid to key goadlkeeping skils and when to use them.

11-a-side Tactics
For Lead Coaches and Assistant Coaches. A chance to discuss different ways to organise a team effectively including pressing, outletting and team defence as well as the training sessions that help develop payers into effetive decision-makers on teh pitch
