 Last season was the first time a GHC Junior team had competed in an indoor competition with the Under 16 Boys winning their South qualifier and getting to the semi-final of the National Finals. This season four teams of Juniors competed (Boys U18s and 16s, Girls U18s and 16s) in South indoor competitions and Boys U14s and Girls U14s competed in an indoor competition at the Copperbox at the Olympic Park at the end of December.
The Boys Under 18s won the Club South Indoor Finals held at Whitgift on 17 December. They were undefeated all day winning their pool with four wins and a draw. They then beat Marlow in their semi-final and Surbiton in the final to claim the gold medals and qualify for National Finals to be held 20-21 January 2018 in Telford.
The Under 16 Boys won all of their pool matches and beat East Grinstead in their semi-final to set up a final v Surbiton which didn't go our way. The boys claimed the silver medals and qualification for National Finals on 20-21 January in Wolverhampton
