Teams
Guildford Hockey Club has 12 adult teams - 7 men's and 5 ladies.
The Men's teams represent a complete spectrum of standards with the men's 1st XI being in the National League; 2s and 3s in the London League; Shadows and 4s in Surrey Leagues; two veteran teams in Wessex Leagues.
The Ladies 1st XI play in the South League and three teams play in the Surrey Leagues. Plus the Ladies Vets team 'Fireflies'.
The Colts section caters for all ages up to 18 and all standards. Weekly training and matches are available to all Colts. Qualified coaches and other helpers organize this increasingly important part of the Club. In addition, as from the 2006/7 season a new "GHC Academy" has been set up with a professional coach running sessions twice weekly for the development of targetted elite young players.
Team Selection and Captains
Both Men’s and Ladies sections operate a pool system, reviewed monthly. Captains email each week their teams for the next weekend. Players should remember that the success of all the teams in the Club depends on them making every effort to be available every Saturday and players must keep their team captain regularly informed of their availability.
Fixtures, results and League tables are available through the Team page of the club website or direct from www.fixs.co.uk. This 'Fixtures Live' website is very helpful as it provides date, time and location of each match.

All training and coaching will take place at Broadwater School (except mid-week ‘Academy’ at RGS, Guildford)

Training is every Friday 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Charterhouse School astro pitch.
Girls Under 14's and Under 16's.
Training is every Friday 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Guildford HC pitch (Broadwater School).
Boys Under 14's and Under 16's
Training is every Sunday 10:00am - 11:30am at Guildford HC pitch (Broadwater School). Ages: 11-15.
Boys Under 18's
