Season 2010/11

New members welcome in all age groups.  Age range 6 years to 18 years old.

Colts training starts on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th,  Sunday 12th   or Monday 13th September 2010 depending on age group. Please note we have restructured our whole Colts Section from last season so  training sessions may be very different from last season. Our groups are based on school years.

Matches are played on Sundays – times may vary.

Boys and Girls Under 8’s and Under 10’s.(year 2 to year 5)

Training is every Friday 6:30pm – 8:00pm on Guildford HC (Broadwater School). The U8’s are indoors in the Sports Hall playing Quicksticks hockey, the u10’s are on the sand based astroturf pitch.

Boys Under 12’s.( years 6 and 7)

Training is every Friday 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Guildford HC  water based astro pitch.

Girls Under 12’s and Under 14’s (years 6 to 9)

Training is every Friday 6.45pm – 8.15 pm at Charterhouse School

Girls Under 16’s and Under 18’s ( years 10 to 13)

Training is every Monday 6:30pm – 8:00pm on Charterhouse School astro pitch.

Boys Under 14’s.(years 8 and 9)

Training is every Saturday afternoon from 5.00pm – 6.30pm. on Guildford HC astro pitch (Broadwater School).

Boys Under 16’s and Under 18’s.(years 10 to 13)

Training is every Sunday morning from 10:00am – 11.30am on Guildford HC astro pitch (Broadwater School).

When there is a match arrangements may change.

Some 25 people are involved in running the Colts, individual names are given in the relevant age group sections.

Shirts and kit, ordering new kit and second-hand kit

Guildford HC maroon shirts, white shirts, white shorts (size 32 upwards),  and hoodies can be ordered from Logopolis. Shirts, hoodies and shorts come with the embroidered club logo and hoodies can have one name on the back. A link to the Logopolis website will be available shortly.

Club socks are available from the clubhouse bar.

Please name all kit, (it all looks the same!).

If you have kit that you have grown out of, (and you are not keeping it in the family) then I am sure that you can pass it on within the colts.

Newsletter

The club newsletter is called “In Touch”. This newsletter has information about the club and also has match reports on games played. This can be found on the web site and will also be e-mailed to those on the distribution list. Please make sure that you have gone to the website and sent your e-mail address to the editor.
