Subscriptions and Match Fees

The budget for running the club in 2009/10 is split between the fixed costs of running our own clubhouse and the ongoing costs of the season’s hockey. Members pay Annual Subscriptions and Match Fees.

Annual Subscriptions are determined each year. For the 2009/10 season the Subscriptions are as follows:

• Senior Members: £205
• Student Members: £120
• Non-playing / Social Members: £50
• Colts – please see Colts section for details

The Senior Members’ subscriptions are reduced by £20 provided at least half the subscription has been received by 30th September 2009. Student members’ subscriptions are reduced by £10 provided at least half the subscription has been received by 30th September 2009. The balance of all subscriptions is due by 31st October 2009.

Subscriptions not paid in full by 31st October will bring the ‘No Pay, No Play’ rule into action. Various methods of paying are available: for these talk to Peter Austin, the Club Treasurer.
For new members joining during the season, the subscription is due not later than 2 weeks after notice of election to the Club has been published in “InTouch” and must be paid within 4 weeks. Subscriptions paid within 2 weeks qualify for discount.

Match Fees are charged to each team for every game. For 2009/10 this is:

• £100 per team per game (both home and away)

Insurance

The Club’s insurance policies do not cover personal accident on the field of play or travelling to and from matches. Members are advised to obtain their own personal insurance cover for personal injury and also for loss of, or damage to personal property.

Committee Meetings

Management: 1st Tuesday of each month

Selection: 2nd Tuesday of each month

Full Committee (all club officers): 3rd Tuesday in September, November, January and March.
